Legend has it that there is a secret race in the heart of Llandysul where people put themselves against the very land that sustains them.  Taking on the murky paddlers lake, the mighty Teifi river and steep Llandysul valley and even tackling the local pool!  Will you join them?

The race will start from Llandysul Paddlers where the first challenge will be to kayak 20 laps of the lake – following this you must cross the river under the bridge and run up to the Aquacentre and swim 10 lengths of the pool – help can be on hand for those who may feel that 10 lengths is beyond them.  Then it’s back down the hill, back under the bridge through the Teifi and follow the course to another river crossing to the park. After running a lap of the park it’s back across the river for the final lap of glory – a swim across the lake to the finish line where you will be greeted by rapturous applause, a medal to confirm your legend status and a cold beverage.  There will also be a barbecue to help your weary body back to life!

THE IMPORTANT PART

Entry for the event is £25 per adult and £15 per child.  Team entries are £10 per person – no maximum number in the team but 2 people from the team must take part in each section.

Entry fees include the use of kit (boats, buoyancy aids etc), swimming pool use, safety on the day, your medal and a cold one when you finish.

If you want to gather some sponsorship money too, then great! You can either fundraise your entry fee or choose to pay this yourselves and raise more money!

The aim of the Kayathlon is to raise money for two excellent community businesses – Llandysul Paddlers and Llandysul Aquacentre, so all proceeds will be split between them.

Ar ôl rhedeg LAP o’r Parc Mae’n ôl ar draws yr afon ar gyfer y LAP olaf o ogoniant-nofio ar draws y Llyn i’r llinell derfyn lle cewch eich cyfarch gan gymeradwyaeth rapturous, medal i gadarnhau eich statws chwedl a diod oer.  Bydd barbeciw hefyd i helpu eich corff hindda yn ôl i fywyd!

Y RHAN BWYSIG

Mynediad ar gyfer y digwyddiad yw £25 fesul oedolyn a £15 y plentyn.  Cofnodion y tîm yw £10 y pen-dim uchafswm nifer yn y tîm ond mae’n rhaid i 2 berson o’r tîm gymryd rhan ym mhob adran.

Mae ffioedd mynediad yn cynnwys defnyddio KIT (cychod, cymhorthion hynofedd ac ati), defnydd pwll nofio, diogelwch ar y diwrnod, eich medal ac un oer pan fyddwch yn gorffen.

Os ydych chi eisiau casglu rhywfaint o arian noddi hefyd, yna gwych! Gallwch naill ai godi arian o’ch ffi mynediad neu ddewis talu eich hun a chodi mwy!

Nod y Kayathlon yw codi arian i ddau fusnes cymunedol ardderchog-Padlwyr Llandysul a Llandysul Aquacentre, felly bydd yr holl elw yn cael ei rannu rhyngddynt.

Bydd y cofrestru ar ddydd Sadwrn ar agor o 10am a bydd y ras yn dechrau am 11Am.  I gofrestru eich diddordeb, llenwch y ffurflen gysylltu a byddwn yn cysylltu â ni o’r fan honno!
